The image gallery card is created in two steps: the background is created using a Gelli Plate and stencil and acrylic paints. The butterfly is stamped on black paper with Versamark ink and then embossed with Ranger Frosted Crystal powder. Once the image was embossed I added colored eyeshadows with a small sponge. I heated my image again to set the powders on the embossed image and then erased the excess with a breadcrumb eraser. Finally, to be safe, I applied a pastel fixative. The result is a slightly grainy and iridescent effect. If you want to know more about this technique you can find a step by step video on our YouTube channel.
