To make the example card I first stamped the rat posted on the tower, created a mask for it with a post-it paper and stamped the tower which I also masked. I did the same for the other rats and the falling counter. Then I inked the paper with inks in orange tones and a little warm gray on the bottom. I used the ink brushes that allow for nice gradients. I used the circles of the round board with darker inks and also bleach to bleach the background. I also used the Mini Background board to decorate the background. I colored the grid to evoke the board of a chess game and added some numbers here and there.
Finally I removed all the masks and colored the patterns with watercolor paint. You can color with watercolor markers as well without worries. Don't forget to add shadows at the foot of the tower and the rat.
The drawings of the board are made by Isabelle that you can find on Facebook, YouTube and Instagram
