Stamp English quote, sheet of unmounted stamps in red rubber
Scrapbooking, card making and mixed media stamps
The map shown as an example in the image gallery was made on StonePaper. For this I first sprinkled powders PaperArtsy Infusions which I sprayed with a little water. Immediately after I sprayed some isopropanol (99% alcohol). The reaction between water and alcohol is very funny, in fact it produces small droplets that must be dried immediately in order not to lose the effect created. Don't try to dry it completely as the Stone Paper will become deformed, just run the heat gun for 2 minutes while moving constantly and then absorb the excess with a paper towel. The result will be more subtle and easy to dab.
It remains only to stamp the image of your choice, here the cat of the board cats on books with Stazon ink (fast drying indelible). A traditional ink like Versafine will never dry on stone paper. Don't forget to test your inks beforehand, so you can avoid unpleasant surprises.
Finally you can blend the color inside the cat, either with a brush and water or with bleach. I used the second option to get a white cat that I can then put back in color with water-based markers or watercolors. Here I preferred to keep it white. Do not use Copic markers as you will dilute the Stazon ink.
