For the journaling art page shown in the sample gallery, I started making the background with water reactive inks that I placed on my Teflon work surface. I sprayed them with water and applied them to the paper with a small Gelli Plate, making sure to leave a white area in the middle. I then stamped my circuit with dark brown Versafine ink in different places. I also dabbed some elements of the board in lighter colors Bidules and things and Spiral borders. I also used the Numbers to add some details. I purposely stayed in neutral and light colors so as not to take over the main designs.
Once my background was finished I added white and black spots with a brush and gouache.
I then stamped the frame stamp twice, one is embossed with gold powder and the other with lapis lazuli powder and then colored with watercolors. I also created a mask with the stamp so that I could pass a white wash on the inside. Also with the mask I stamped my robot stamps to create a gallery of family portraits.
At this point I just had to color my two robot stamps and paste it on my pages. The text also comes from of the frame stamp
