Butterflies flutterbies ……

Today is my day on the Katzelkraft blog again ! O, happy day! It’s Saturday, so relax and do some stamping!

I made two cards with almost the same stamps, but with different techniques.

For this one, start by attaching a torn piece of text on your CS. Sponge it with Distress inks. Cover the whole CS with a thin layer of gesso. Stamp the butterflies on the CS with StazOn black, and color them with ecoline or other inks/pencils. Stamp some dots and the edges with versamark, heat emboss with gold embossingpowder. Adhere it to your card.

For the second one, sponge the CS with Distress inks. Stamp the butterflies and text with versamark and heat emboss with clear embossingpowder. Paint the whole CS with a thin layer of gesso. Iron the embossing off with an iron. Stamp the butterflyand text on the background with StazOn black, and color them with ecoline or other inks/pencils. Distress the edges of the background with a paperdistresser and distress with same colors used for the background.  Adhere it to your card.

Les fleurs !

The project I’m sharing with you today is a card that was inspired by a colleague at work doodling !

The stamp sets I’ve used are Wings, Fleurs and Nature. I’ve stamped the background and then covered it with Gesso, scraped off the excess and when it was dry stamped the word ‘nature’ randomly all over it. The flowers are stamped with black Archival ink and then distressed them with Wild Honey, Barn Door and Vintage Photo Distress Inks. The butterfly is stamped on to acetate and then cut out. The metal frame is covered with alcohol ink and then mounted over the text with silicone.

cARTe à jouer – ISA

Bonjour bonjour !

Ca y est ! C’est le week-end et chez moi c’est aussi le début des vacances scolaires. On voit pousser des oeufs un peu partout.. bizarre !? LOL

Point d’oeuf pour moi aujourd’hui (mais ça va venir.. grâce à Nanou ;-) ) mais une carte à jouer altérée.  J’ai utilisé :

Les tampons mur (planche Transportation)
puis arabesque (planche Art Nouveau) appliqués par deux fois en coins opposés..

partie de motif tampon planche Art Nouveau appliqué sur des ailes..
et voilà une carte à suspendre :

Après avoir texturé rapidement ma serrure, j’ai passé directement le pad (encre Distress) dessus, cela fait ressortir la texture.

Et.. pourquoi ne pas vous laisser aussi tenter par le challenge des KATZMANIAQUES ?
