Vintage Circus

Good morning everybody; Neil here. Today I’d like to share this project with you. It’s a little printers tray and I’ve used the circus plates  KTZ68 and KTZ67.

I started by cutting out card to fit each compartment and stamped the images in archival ink before adding distress inks to colour.  I stamped the hat for the cat and the extra horse onto card and coloured in lightly and added to the tray.

I stamped and cut out one of the images from the elephants to fit into a bottle cap and added that filling it with glossy accents to give a nice shine. I made the bars for the “cage” from card too. The frame was coloured and stamped with a random selection of the words from both plates.

I also stamped the Cirque and Bohemiens along with the juggler onto shrink plastic and made a rosette for the top and attached the juggler and bohemiens to that and cirque to the tray.

To finish I made and acetate “curtain” to frame it and added some glitter to it. I also added a mixture of beads and sequins to a couple of compartments for added sparkle!

Hope you like it and I hope you have a wonderful week ahead of you!

Take care,

Neil
