Good morning everyone; Neil here. Today I have a journal cover to share using KTZ64 (Vinci Joconde) This is definitely a favourite plate!

I used corrugated card for the cover which I tore to expose the texture and then painted in shades of green with a bit of white. The same greens and a bit of brown were used to colour the main paper onto which I stamped the horse and “art” The paper underneath was coloured with inks and the other horse image stamped onto it. This was glued in place and the main image attached with snaps.

Some of the detail pictures. I stamped the small horse image onto the cover to add interest to some of the gaps. Lastly I cut paper to size and added to the cover with book rings. So now I have another sketchbook/journal ready; either for a gift or for me to use (Whichever comes first!)

Avez vous remarqué comme les arbres ont soudainement changé de couleurs?C’est magnifique, n’est ce pas?

Alors, me voici avec une carte aux couleurs automnales!

Les feuilles de la planche “pluie”, ainsi que le mur en briques de la planche “transportation” ont été tamponnés selon la technique de collage,ainsi que celle du shadow.

(désolée, je n’ai pas fait de pas à pas…je me rattraperai la prochaine fois!promis!)

The project I’m sharing with you today is a Christmas card, as I’ve only made 4 I need to get cracking !

The stamp sets that I’ve used are Saint Nicolas and Noel . The background is made using the snowflake from the Noel set and I’ve used the resist technique. The cottage is watercoloured using Distress Ink.

Goodmorning Katzelkraft stamping lovers!!

Last Saturday I gave a workshop in a craftstore here in Holland. It was wonderful, I love to teach others to play with stamps, to make beautiful creations.

This is an overall photo with all the tags I made (you will recognize some of them as I’ve posted them to this blog earlier).

This one is my favorite! Mix some gesso with water and splash it on your tag. After drying, color your tag with dye ink. Dab a brown color dye ink on your craftsheet, spray water on it. Pick up a few drops of brown on your tag to get that shabby effect. Finish your card by stamping the image with black ink.
