Butterfly Tag – Chris

Hi everyone! I have a tag to show today and another in the collage style which I love and which Katzelkraft stamps are superb to use for this style because of the variety of styles and sizes of stamps.

I’ve sponged on ink, painted on acrylic paint and used various colours of permanent ink to stamp the images together with some crackle paint beads and pretty ribbons to decorate.

Last week I made box using a metal paint with a rust finish paint effect and using one of the tree stamps which I embossed onto the flower.

Stamps used Papillons 04, Arbres 02, Physalis – Oiseau Musique A6, Art Deco Mucha A5

Hi there everyone

It’s my turn to share this week and I hope you all had a great weekend!

I made a card this week using MINI 17. Femme au Chapeau; one of the new Katzelkraft stamps.

When I saw this stamp I just knew it would be perfect for a simple elegant card for a special lady; or perhaps and invitation to a dinner party?

Anyway, here is the card

I made a 15 x 15 cm card from black cardstock and cut white card to 14 x 14cm. I embossed the white card with a cuttlebug embossing folder. (just a tip; when embossing something this size that is larger than the folder you need to run it through twice and sometimes get a line showing; if you think this will happen then position your first piece where you can then uses a strip to cover; like I have here)

I cut a black piece of card 2 x 14 cm and added to cover the embossing line. 3 pieces of jewellery beads to finish iff.

I stamped the lady onto white card and cut out. I ran a black ink-pad around to define the edge. Using Ultra thick clear embossing powder I triple heat embossed the image and when cool attached to the card.

‘A’ is for ……

The project I’m sharing with you today is a chipboard letter that I bought from a local garden centre.

I’ve covered it with Gesso and then coated it with Distress Stains Walnut Stain, then used the Fleurs and the Nature Quotes sets of stamps. I’ve stamped with Coffee Archival ink and the quote has been stamped with black Archival ink.

Mona Lisa Smiles:By Zuzu

Today I have brought a set of “mona Lisa” items to share with you.Made Using the plate “Vinci Joconed“  The cards were all very quick and easy. I thought it would make a change from all the Altered Items I usually make and it also shows you dont have to be an expert stamper to make an effective card.

S’il vous plaît pardonnez mon français. Je sais qu’il sera très imparfaite …

Aujourd’hui, j’ai présenté une série de “Mona Lisa” articles à partager avec vous. En utilisant la plaque “Vinci Joconed“.  Les cartes ont toutes été très rapide et facile. Je pensais que cela ferait un changement de tous les éléments Altered Je fais habituellement et il montre aussi que vous n’avez pas à être une poinçonneuse experts pour faire une carte efficace.

The Next three were inspired by the song”mona Lisa” by Nat King Cole… I combined music with the Mona Lisa image and name.

Les trois prochaines ont été inspirés par la chanson “Mona Lisa”de Nat King Cole … J’ai combiné la musique avec l’image et le nom de Mona Lisa.

Of course no article of mine would be complete without a domino :)   so here is a domino magnet of Mona.
Bien entendu, aucun de mes articles ne serait complète sans un domino:) Voici donc un aimant domino de Mona.

Cartes Merci !

Bonjour,

Voici quelques cartes réalisées pour les maitresses et Atsem de l’école de mes enfants et remises le dernier jour d’école.

En toute simplicité un Merci s’imposait.

Le tampon “Merci de tout coeur” de la planche Citations était parfait.

J’en profite également pour vous informer que je serai en crop le 11 septembre 2011 à Martigues, chez “Absolument créatif” pour un projet qui mettra à l’honneur les tampons Katzelkraft.

APPEL A DT FRANCE

Katzelkraft recherche plusieurs membres pour sa Design Team française, si vous êtes intéressé(e)s et que vous répondez aux conditions demandées vous pouvez me contacter  ici: katzdteam@gmail.com

Conditions:

  • Vous devez posséder un blog, c’est essentiel pour la communication et la promotion de la marque.
  • Vous devez pouvoir parler un minimum anglais afin de pouvoir communiquer avec les membres de la DT internationale sur un forum privé entièrement réservé à la DT. Quelques bases et de la bonne volonté suffisent, juste histoire de ce comprendre un peu ;-)
  • Vous devez être à même de faire 4 réalisations par mois, le choix est libre, ça peut être du scrap, de la carterie, des bijoux, des tags… à vous de voir. Vous pouvez les faire au fur et à mesure ou toutes d’un coup et programmer vos posts de blogs à l’avance, encore une fois c’est votre choix.
  • Vous posterez vos réalisations sur votre blog chaque semaine et sur le blog DT 1 semaine sur deux.
  • Vous devrez relayer les différentes opérations commerciales de la boutique sur votre blog (soldes, promotions, nouveautés…)

En contre partie vous recevez chaque mois des tampons que vous choisissez vous même à hauteur d’un certain montant. Vous ne recevez donc que des tampons qui vous plaisent, aucune contrainte là non plus. Plus de détails une fois que vous serez sélectionné(e)

Si vous êtes intéressé(e), envoyez moi l’adresse de votre blog ainsi qu’une petite présentarion de vous même et de ce que vous pouvez apporter à la marque. Les membres de la DT ainsi que moi-même iront y faire un tour et nous vous contacterons si vous êtes retenu(e).

Altered Box – Chris

Hi everyone I have an altered box to show today which I’ve made to contain my brads and embellishments etc. I used the stamps Typograph 06 and Papillons 04 which I stamped on tissue paper and then applied to the box. Lots of crackle paint, shimmer mist, and distress embossing powder was added over the tissue paper and I die cut some flowers from fabric which were coloured with distress inks and added to the top together with gems, pearls and hardware.

Just a little wish……

Hi there fellow Katzelkraft fans.

Sorry I am a bit late posting but here I am.  I’ve been running around getting my daughter ready for her trip to Portugal so did not get the project I am working on finished in time to show you!  However, I’ve been making little albums to keep my embossing folders in so here is one of the covers using one of my favourite images from the Carnival plate

I stamped the image onto white card and covered with glossy accents, without re inking I stamped the same image onto card and then embossed with a cogs folder. I used chipped sapphire distress ink to colour.

Paris Monument !

For my Katzelkraft DT project this week I’ve made a card using the Paris Monuments stamp set.

I stamped the flourish in Archival Olive ink to make a border. The embossed panel is made using the Fleur de Lys embossing folder and then I rubbed Viva metallic paint over the top and then some DI.

The Paris text is stamped onto some Grunge Paper that I’ve blended Barn Door DI over then cut out using Labels 4 Nestabilities. The main image has been stamped with black Archival ink onto card that I’ve blended Olive DI over. I then highlighted some areas using bleach and a fine paint brush. I stamped the monument again onto shrink plastic, punch a hole with my Cropodile before shrinking it.
