The project that I’m sharing with you today is a wooden box that I bought from a local garden centre, that I’ve altered.

I’ve used the Physalis et petits oiseaux stamp set and also the Nature/Voyage quotes stamp set. The images are all stamped onto white tissue paper using Olive and Black Archival ink. I’ve used multi medium matte to stick the images onto the box, which has been covered with Gesso and then acrylic paint. As the images are stamped onto tissue paper it’s also possible to the opposite side and therefor reversing the image. The butterfly is stamped onto vellum and the flower and swirls are die cut from metal.
